Crystal Palace picked up an unexpected and vital win against Play-Off chasing Leeds United thanks to a Jermaine Easter goal after just 76 seconds. The goal was initially awarded to Neil Danns, who fired in a shot from the edge of the area, but video analysis later saw the goal given to Easter, whom the ball glanced off on the way to goal.

Danns was red carded 8 minutes into stoppage time at the end of the match, but the Eagles would hold on to move within a single point of mathematical safety. Meanwhile, the defeat all but ended Leeds’ once promising shot at promotion.
